What’s new at CCM?
- Introducing The West Side String Program! The Concord Conservatory of Music’s West Side String Program (WSSP) blends the Suzuki philosophy and traditional string pedagogy. Shinichi Suzuki’s philosophy embraces the idea that all children are born with a musical ability that can be nurtured at an early age through their environment, listening, imitation, and by practicing with a parent at home. The traditional string pedagogy enhances these approaches by incorporating the development of technique and musicianship through scales, etudes, music reading, and a variety of repertoire
- Group classes for Kids: Beginning Fiddling, Uke for Kids!, and Jazz Improvisation
- Group classes for Teens: Vocal Repertoire: The Audition Toolbox, Group Guitar II, and Jazz Improvisation
- Group classes for Adults: Concord Learning Choir, Hand Drumming at CCM, and more!
- Check out all the jams including the new Old-Time Jam Session
- New classes for Lifelong Learners, read on>>

Music Achievement Program (MAP)—our goal is to create well-rounded and confident musicians at CCM by providing music education beyond what can be covered in the private lessons. Last year was the introduction of MAP, and we learned a lot. Be sure to check out the improvements we’ve made to the program; all to enhance your child’s musical education. Will they reach for the Gold this year?
Save the date! Saturday, March 30th, 6 pm for the CCM American Roots Winter Party featuring the band Twisted Pine. Details to come soon.
