In a social group that is celebratory of all ages and skill levels, each class will incorporate simple percussion instruments, creative movement, improvisation, and playful props. He provides some background information on all the songs and questions to think about while listening. Singing With Parkinson’s

A chorus-based opportunity to participate in voice therapy through song, Singing with Parkinson’s focuses on vocal fitness while offering people coping with the disease a chance to sing together, perform in the community, and build new friendships. Breathing, stretching, posture, and vocal exercises are taught in a supportive, congenial environment.

Concord Open Bluegrass Jam

Thursdays, 7:30 - 9:00 pm

Open to bluegrass players at all levels – guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, dobro, bass, singers, and also to those who just want to listen. Join Max Anderson as he calls the tunes, posts the charts and leads the group (at a manageable speed) through the great repertoire of tunes and songs from the bluegrass tradition.

Tones of Fun Developmental Music Class

For kids ages 3 - 6 and 7 - 9 with developmental needs, this class will help children flourish. Deeply committed to providing educational opportunities for all learners, CCM has contracted with the Berklee Institute for Accessible Arts to bring Tones of Fun Developmental Music Class to our community.

Meet
Tsuyoshi Honjo

Tsuyoshi Honjo believes in his students’ potential and encourages them—making them feel at ease in their lessons. Building a successful relationship with students involves a mutual give and take over time. Answering student questions and guiding their skill development, students easily see Tsuyoshi’s enthusiasm for learning and making music.
