Private Lessons

Private, 1:1 instruction provides a great opportunity to learn to play an instrument or to continue building on existing knowledge and skill. Over time, private music education develops patience, commitment, perseverance, logical thinking, goal-setting, time management, increased confidence and self-esteem.

Tuition includes:

  • 17 weeks of 1:1 instruction
  • Performance Workshop to prepare first-timers for a recital
  • Free accompaniment rehearsals in preparation for recitals
  • Performance opportunities throughout the academic year, including recitals and ensemble concerts
  • Musicales, where students connect with their peers, perform, and receive feedback
  • Discounts on all ensembles and for specific group classes
  • Participation in the Music Achievement Program (MAP
  • The CCM Listening Project
  • Free admittance to concerts and lectures for students 18 and under

30 min. – $942.65

60 min. – $1,666

25% tuition deposit and annual registration fee ($45 per family) are required at the time of registration. Remaining tuition is due by August 22 for the fall semester and full tuition payment is due January 16 for the spring semester. Students entering after the start of a semester will be charged on a pro-rated basis for the duration of the semester.

Following a conversation with the Student Services Manager or School Director, students are matched with an appropriate teacher who tailors instruction to best fit each student’s needs and goals. Private lessons are offered in banjo, bass, cello, clarinet, composition, flute, guitar, improvisation, mandolin, percussion, piano (classical and jazz), saxophone, theory, trumpet, ukulele, viola, violin and voice.
