News at CCM

Congratulations to our 2018 Music Achievement Program (MAP) participants!

Music Achievement Program students

What exactly is CCM’s Music Achievement Program (MAP) again?

It’s a free private lesson enrichment program created to give our students access to a broader musical education. When students participate in these activities they increase their musical fluency and engage with other students, recital audiences, and diverse musical genres.

Our 2018 MAP students completed everything on their Activity Checklist. They are an extremely dedicated and talented group of students exemplifying the very best at CCM.

CCM in the Community

CCM has begun a new community initiative—we are sharing music with our senior neighbors who find it more difficult to leave their homes. CCM students will play their music at bi-monthly visits to Rivercrest’s Nursing and Rehabilitation in Concord. The feedback received to-date is overwhelmingly positive. This is an ongoing opportunity for our students. Stay tuned for more on this, and other news about CCM in the Community.
