Introduce your kids to the world of music through singing, dancing, and games! Explore what the Family Notes and Music & Movement group classes will offer your student.

Kids will develop social, cognitive, and emotional skills in a fun group class environment. Through movement, singing, and creative games, young musicians will learn about pitch, phrasing, accents, and all the rich components of music, and will not even realize they’re gaining vital ear-training skills and musical concepts. Learn more about Family Notes and Music Makers, where young children play with sound while motoring around.

CCM Music Achievement Program (MAP) enhances a student’s experience and provides a broader music education by increasing their musical fluency and engaging them with other students, their audiences, and various genres of music. Find out what CCM provides to students beyond exceptional private lessons, all included in their private lesson tuition.

Placement Auditions for the Overture String Orchestra for students in grades 4 – 8 from 2 – 3 pm at the Open House.

Please sign up for a live placement audition.

CCM’s Overture String Orchestra provides a fulfilling chamber experience that upholds the West Side Strings philosophy of personalized instruction. This intimate group setting supports and enhances the concepts taught in school orchestra programs and performs for community outreach.

Placement is firstly based on playing level, but students will typically fall into grades 4-8. Overture string players need not be CCM students, but are required to be in private lessons with a qualified instructor and are encouraged to participate in their school orchestra programs if available to them.
