Immerse yourself in sweet string-band sounds and rich musical traditions in Concord Conservatory’s Old Time String Band Ensemble. This ensemble offers a unique opportunity to connect with fellow local musicians, expand your repertoire of old time tunes, and cultivate your musicianship in a welcoming, supportive environment. Rooted in aural tradition, our ensemble emphasizes learning by ear, with tune breakdowns and play-alongs conveniently accessible via Google Drive. This class runs for four weeks and is taught at an intermediate pace.
