The Concord Bluegrass Band is an intermediate level ensemble, ideal for folks who are looking to play bluegrass music in an organized band setting. This ensemble experience will hone in on each instrument’s role as a member of a bluegrass band and give folks the opportunity to sing and pick their favorite bluegrass standards. The course will culminate in a short performance. Let’s pick!

Participants should be familiar with several songs tunes in the style, play their instrument at an intermediate level, and hold their own in a jam session. If you’re unsure whether this class is a good fit, please email Student Services Manager Emma Huggard with a description of your background and we’ll help you.

This is open to all voices and acoustic string instruments. In keeping with authenticity, the ensemble will fit no more than two of any instrument with an overall capacity of 6 members.
