CCM Family Series!
Step into the warmth and wonder with the Around Hear, part of CCM’s Family Concert Series!
Find out what a little moonlight can do with this delightful program of songs, stories, and chamber music for voice, clarinet, violin, cello, and piano. Bright, mysterious sounds from Messiaen will be interwoven with a pop-folk tribute to the moon, musical settings of classic bedtime stories by Margaret Wise Brown and Arnold Lobel, and a toe-tapping Billie Holiday tribute.
The performance features the dazzling artistry of vocalist Laura Grill Jaye, clarinetist Peter Arvantely, violinist Marji Gere, cellist Adrienne Taylor, and pianist Dan Sedgwick.
Around Hear is a Somerville-based organization that offers innovative and uplifting community music concerts for diverse audiences. Learn more about the ensemble at www.aroundhear.org.
