Ear Training is the companion skill to Music Theory and could be more aptly named “brain training”.
Offered throughout the year, these Ear Training sessions address all the sounds that correspond with the written notation. Through sight singing, you will practice the skill of seeing a note or rhythm and singing the sound of it on the spot.
Ear Training helps us listen more accurately when practicing our instruments and improves our sight reading and interpretation skills.
