Meet the Instruments: Piano, Strings, Percussion, Guitar

Each semester we’ll explore an instrument family while developing foundational musicianship skills.

Embark on an exciting journey through the wonderful world of instruments!

What to Expect:  In Meet the Instruments, young learners will explore foundational musicianship skills such as rhythm, note reading, and ensemble skills in a fun and engaging environment. They will also discover the unique sounds and personalities of various instruments through carefully chosen listening samples, interactive movement activities, and engaging discussions.

Up Close and Personal: Your child will have the unique opportunity to witness select instruments up close, presented by guest instrumentalists.

Early Musicianship: Students will get a head start on essential skills for both group and private instrumental lessons, whether they’re still deciding on an instrument or have already started learning.

Instruments We’ll Explore: We’ll explore the violin, viola, cello, double bass, piano, percussion, guitar, ukulele, banjo, and mandolin.
