Explore the art of Digigal Music Production at our new Media Lab!

Whether you’re a curious beginner, a budding composer, or a young gamer who dreams of designing your own soundtracks, this course is your gateway into the world of digital music creation.

What You’ll Learn

  • Master GarageBand, Apple’s powerful music-making software
  • Learn how to build tracks from scratch and experiment with sound
  • Explore techniques used in video game music composition
  • Collaborate with peers in a creative, tech-forward environment
  • Complete the class with a finished music project to share and build on

For kids who love video games, learn how music brings them to life! Music sets the mood, builds tension, and brings characters to life. Students will learn how to:

  • Create loops and themes that match gameplay
  • Use sound to tell a story or enhance a player’s experience
  • Understand how music interacts with action, emotion, and pacing in games

For adults, this course offers a hands-on introduction to music production—whether you’re a beginner or a musician looking to explore digital tools like GarageBand.  No prior tech experience required.
