This course takes the mystery out of improvising, offering intermediate players a fun, hands-on gateway to creative skills they can use across any musical style. Far from a theory class, this is a highly collaborative and energetic space where kids learn to play, listen, and create with total confidence.
Through engaging listening sessions with classic and modern jazz recordings, students will learn how professional musicians groove, communicate, and invent melodies in the moment. Our expert faculty guides students through simple, supportive exercises that make learning jazz improv feel like a fun creative game rather than an intimidating chore.
