Concord Conservatory of MusicConcord Conservatory of MusicThis fun beginner guitar class for ages 8–10 introduces students to the fretboard through learning basic open chords, reading music, and guitar tablature. Students will have fun learning to play recognizable songs while building a strong musical foundation by learning about the fretboard, scales, and guitar techniques.
Students must supply their own acoustic for this class. For young players, our teachers recommend nylon strings as they are softer and easier on the fingers.
Prerequisites: For pianists of all levels, ages 15 to adult. No prior jazz experience is needed.
