The First Month Back at CCM

What a month it’s been! The halls of CCM are buzzing with energy as we kick off our new fall semester, and we have so much to celebrate.

September started on a high note with our annual Discovery Day Open House on the 6th. It was a day filled with music and joy, as new and returning families explored our campus, met new members of our incredible faculty, and discovered the power of music firsthand. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a resounding success.

The excitement continued with a sold-out crowd for The Okee Dokee Brothers! It was a fantastic evening of music that brought families from all over New England and our community together in a truly special way. This is what our 20th anniversary is all about—sharing world-class music and creating lasting memories for families to share.

Speaking of our 20th anniversary, we’re thrilled to announce the arrival of our new 20th Anniversary T-shirts! These shirts are a perfect way to show your CCM pride and celebrate this special milestone with us. You can grab yours at the CCM office, and we encourage you to wear it for our upcoming CCM Family Cookout on October 19th.

Behind the scenes, we’re making exciting updates to our facilities, including new computers and keyboards at CCM 2, just in time for our Intro to Music Creation class this fall.

As CCM instructor, Manuel Garcia-Baro shared,

“The opening of our brand new Media Lab marks the beginning of a whole set of offerings that will bring music production classes to students of all ages and musical backgrounds. Creating music has never been easier and knowing how to use the most modern tools opens up a world of endless possibilities. I’m looking forward to hearing what our students will create in our Media Lab!”

These investments ensure our students have the best tools to create and learn, all thanks to your support. Stay tuned for more to come this fall semester!

Be the Reason Someone Experiences Music This Spring

Imagine the joy of a child learning their first instrument, the spark in a senior’s eye as they reconnect with cherished memories through music, or the strength in the voice of someone with Parkinson’s finding their melody.

You can make these moments possible with a gift to CCM.

By making your very first gift to CCM, you have the opportunity to:

  • Empower children at our local Boys & Girls Club with confidence-building ukulele lessons
  • Bring hope and connection to seniors through music programs in retirement communities
  • Give individuals with Parkinson’s the chance to strengthen their voices and find joy through song
  • Unite our community with affordable concerts that inspire and bring people together
  • Open doors for students of all ages to find belonging and creativity through lessons, recitals, and workshops

Will you help us meet our community's needs with a gift today?
