Percussion instructor Giuseppe Paradiso teaches pulse and the essential rhythmic skill of subdividing using percussion as well as the body as an instrument. This physical approach is guaranteed to improve students’ sense of pulse and rhythmic awareness. Students should bring their instruments to test out these techniques.
