Faculty Concert

We're kicking off our concert season early, with our first concert Friday, September 19th at 7:00 pm with the Xonor Trio, who will perform works by Beethoven, Piazzolla, and Mendelssohn.

The Fiddle Tunes Jam Toolkit

This course is open to all acoustic instruments - not just fiddle!

This ensemble offers a relaxed space to explore instrumental music from various fiddle styles and understand how to play those tunes with others. This class welcomes all instrumentalists who have the desire to learn and play music from the traditional fiddle-based styles, including Bluegrass, Old Time, and Celtic.

Mandolin 1

Are you ready to dive headfirst into the wide world of mandolin? Mandolin 1 is a group class designed to give you the essential skills to start playing the mandolin and begin making music with other people.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of rhythm, melody, and harmony through popular mandolin repertoire. We’ll cover fundamental concepts - picking techniques, strumming patterns, left-hand exercises, ear training, the Nashville Number System - while learning motivating and creative ways to practice these concepts and apply them to our playing.
