Composition: Film Music Workshop

Taught by CCM faculty member Manuel Garcia-Baro

Monday, November 2, 5:30-6:30 pm

*This workshop takes place at CCM 2 Media Lab (15 Junction Square Drive, Concord)

Guided by composer and CCM faculty member Manuel García-Baró, students will explore how music creates emotion, drama, and atmosphere in visual media. Through a collaborative group project, participants will get hands-on experience scoring a real movie scene — taking a soundtrack from initial concept to completion. It’s an exciting, practical look into the art and creative process of professional film scoring.

*Workshops are Free for active CCM students; $10 for non-CCM participants.
