In this class, caregivers and children ages 18 – 36 months will experience the joy of making music. At this age, young children are working on playing with sound and motoring around. Physical development, language development, and musicality are stimulated through musical play. Musical concepts and structure will be introduced through song, dance, and instrument play. We will explore sound and discover our unique voices through improvisation and stretch our imaginations using everyday materials to develop a fun musical practice that can be woven into the fabric of family life. This class invites you to make new friends and groove to the beat — now with tambourines, maracas, and jingle bells.
