There is music within each and every one of us. In this fun workshop, you will learn the tools to learn how to play with no music in front of you. Students will learn effective tools for improvisation. 

Find your own voice and be the creator.  Improvisation teaches you how to listen well and how to adjust your playing in a split second. 

Learn how to keep track of movements and timing. We’ll discuss musical forms, how to bring sounds to new heights, and how to tell when improvisation ends. Or, learn if it ends at all!

Groups will be matched with similar age and level to get the most out of this workshop.

Improvisation I is your introduction workshop while Improvisation II is hands-on. Students will present their improvisation on their instrument from the knowledge they’ve gained from the first workshop.
