CCM Play Day!

Get ready for an afternoon of musical family fun at the CCM Play Day, a festival of performances and games to raise funds for the Financial Assistance Fund at Concord Conservatory of Music.

Come listen to our CCM student concerts beginning at 11:45 am and running all afternoon.  We have almost 200 students performing!

Everyone is invited to experience a “Musical Instrument Petting Zoo”, join in a drumming circle - bring your hand drums, preview Summer Camp and Workshops,

Faculty Concert Series - Paul Jacobs' Piano Trio

Paul Jacobs’ Piano Trio performing “Light and Darkness” works by Schubert and Shostakovitch.

This selection places the poetically joyful tenderness of Schubert’s pieces against the desolation of Shostakovitch’s.

Paul Jacobs will be performing with Yu-Wen Chen (violin), and Nick Dinnerstein (cello). Jacobs performs extensively on the East coast and his repertoire covers standard classics, as well as 20th century compositions and new works.

This concert is free admission, with donations accepted at the door.

Faculty Concert Series - Brian Friedland's Big Band

Brian Friedland and his 20 piece Big Band return to CCM for a celebrated performance of original compositions and Jazz standards.

Best Practices for Practice: A seminar for parents on practicing

As a parent, do you know what makes a successful practice session? It may look different each day. It may even involve a lollipop!

“She’s just not learning.”
“It’s always a fight.”
“He used to like to practice, what happened?”

What we're doing to help
One of CCM’s goals is to give our students and parents ways to structure successful practice sessions. We hope that at the end of the day, the week, the semester both you and your musician have grown – and are smiling.
